Peace
Marc Mosko, 1996

There is no force
There is no place
There is nothing which may give one peace.

Peace is not lost keys to be found,
Peace is not a place to book reservations.
Peace cannot be toured on $10 a day.

Even the lack of everything would not bring one peace.
Standing in the 9 item express lane,
Floating in an isolation tank,
In all places we are just as turbulent.

Removing stress and stimulation does not create peace.
It only reduces one's anxiety.
Relaxing in the bath or on a beach does not create peace.
It is only a vacation from one's self.

Peace is nothing to feel, nothing to grab, nothing to do.
Peace is within one, peace is the truth,
 Peace is a realization,
 Honesty to one's self.
